BIO
Dimitris Vlaikos is a visual director and portrait photographer based in Athens. He develops narratives that explore portraiture, food, editorial, corporate, commercial and advertising projects. He contributes to concept development, visual direction and image production, providing his services to cultural institutions, brands, agencies and publishers world over. His considered approach and ability to build a connection with his subjects, allow his images to feel honest and timeless. His work has been awarded prizes in magazines such as National Geographic and British Professional Photographer, vogue, covers, advertising campaigns and organisations across the Globe. In 2022 he published his first photography book titled “Myrmidones“.
